Students of the
University of the Basque Country analyze in this video the current situation of
programmed obsolescence with society.
Companies shorten the
life of their products to get more sales. This is called ‘planned obsolescence'. The products last so little that we have to get rid of them.
Soon there will be no places left to waste, and the planet can’t sustain this
forever.
Planned obsolescence
is a problem that concerns us all. As a society, we have the conviction power
necessary to transform the world into a more prosperous future. The solution to
this problem is the decrease: reduce our ecological footprint, waste,
overproduction and overconsumption.
